Leads Group 7 Meeting Recap: Mary Gallagher CPA & PostNet – June 1, 2016

We started off the meeting congratulating our Citizen of the Month, Ryan Urbach of American Pacific Mortgage, for passing the most leads in May. Members of Leads Group 7 can become Citizen of the Month by passing the most leads in the previous month. Congratulations, Ryan!

Our 30-second add-on question was: What did you do over Memorial Day Weekend? Many LG7 members attended graduation parties, barbecues, and planted their summer gardens, while a few members used the long weekend to catch up on work.

Our first presenter this week was Mary Gallagher of Mary Gallagher CPA. Mary has been in business for herself since 2013; prior to starting her own business, she worked at the public accounting firm EKSH. Mary earned a Masters of Taxation and Masters in Accounting from the University of Denver and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1993. Mary provides high quality tax and accounting services, making sure her clients stay compliant with government and regulatory agencies and reporting accurate and dependable financial information. Mary is very responsive client inquiries and is genuinely interested in helping her clients succeed.

Most of Mary’s work consists of tax preparation, but she also provides monthly accounting and tax planning/consulting. Mary’s client mix includes smaller business owners in service industries (attorneys, realtors, software, oil & gas, etc.), rental property owners and flippers, retirees, investors, and nonprofits.

Mary is seeking these types of leads:

  • People who have acquired a new business through purchase or purchasing a franchise
  • People who have started their own business after working in the field for others
  • People who have moved to Colorado recently and want a local CPA
  • People whose previous CPA retired or have nonresponsive prior CPAs
  • Family groups, e.g., adult children and their parents

Several LG7 members praised Mary for her quick responsiveness to their inquiries and highly recommend Mary for her services.

Our second presenter this week was Anne Schuller of PostNet. Anne spoke about how her family is involved with PostNet, including her husband, son-in-law, and 14-year-old grandkid. PostNet is a comprehensive business center in downtown Denver; services include printing, print marketing, canvas prints, and mailing & shipping. Anne passed out samples for LG7 members to view, including yearbooks and lookbooks.

Thanks for the great presentations this week, Mary and Anne!
