We began this week’s meeting with the icebreaker: What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Many LG7 members enjoy Blue Bunny’s flavors (such as “Moo-llenium”), chocolate chip cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, and many other flavors. Surprisingly, nobody said that they liked plain old chocolate!
This week’s first presenter was Kara Shropshire of Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering. Kara passed out some delicious salted caramel samples to members to enjoy during her presentation. First, Kara talked about her background: an Ohio native, Kara earned a degree in hospitality management and a business minor from Ohio State University. Kara lived in Vail before moving down to Denver to work at Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering.
Tony’s Market first opened in 1978 and is a family-owned and operated business. In 2004, Tony Rosacci’s daughter started the fine catering division of the business. Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering provides services ranging from drop-off lunch orders to full onsite service for catering needs. To begin the process of working with Kara at Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering, Kara outlined the following steps:
- Tell Kara about yourself and your group – What foods do you like or dislike? Any special dietary restrictions? Do you have a specific vision for this event?
- Let’s create! – Tony’s caters to each event’s unique needs: there’s an opportunity to custom design seasonal menus and catering packages that appeal to your clientele
Tony’s offers many amenities, including rental assistance, in-house floral and event decor, and full service beverage options.
Tony Rosacci’s Fine Catering has worked with many esteemed clients in the Denver metro area, including the Denver Botanical Gardens, Union Station, and even the Denver Broncos.
Great leads for Kara are:
- Summer barbecues, holiday parties
